Devotional Trails: Spaces and solitude along Spanish pilgrimage trails

This is a photography book, filled with images from my 2017 Camino de Santiago trek across northern Spain. I walked the entire distance from St Jean Pied-du-Port in France, then over the Pyrenees, on to Santiago de Compostela and finally to Finisterre and Muxia on the Atlantic Coast. En route, I passed through Pamplona, Burgos, and Leon. The route is as much a spiritual journey, even more so, than a merely physical one. You meet fellow pilgrims and walkers from all age groups and all walks of life, and you traverse many regions. The visual highlights include beautiful old churches, picturesque villages and incredible landscape settings. Captions are provided with each photograph.
